"Cities On Venus" --Extinct Technological Life May Have Existed Eons Ago In Our Solar System

Is there proof of other life in our solar system?  Berkeley's SETI research center director Andrew Siemion thinks so. It is a good possibility that Venus or Mars could have been inhabited billions of years ago. Our search has only just begun. We have hardly scratched the surface.

As with our own planet lying deep beneath the covering are ancient objects. Evidence of technological civilizations. Covered by rock and soil. Buried by only years of sand, mud and sea. His inquiry has been published in Nature.

As our understanding of the past is uncovered, we grow in the knowledge of other species. Other gigantic creatures that existed in ancient times. Only to have gone vanished, by some cosmic calamity. Probability of a meteor hitting the earth. Or shifting in the tectonic plates causing a huge disaster for life on earth billions of years ago. Removing techno signatures of an original species.

Astronomer Jason Wright at Penn State believes that there may be pieces of it in our Solar System. That have buried and are survived under the surface of Venus or Mars. Or other heavenly bodies in ours or other solar systems.

Astrobiology asks extant or extinct life. Evidence survives in geological records that techno signatures can be originate. It maybe that Venus was a thriving city at one time. This is an old idea, Wright noted that in literature dating from 1890's.

Now astronomers are planning the moons of Jupiter. Europa and Enceladus and Europa studying and looking the subsurface of the oceans. That an original technological species may have existed in our solar system. And that a supernova caused a mass destruction. Or possibility gamma rays of epic amount.

Wright thinks we may have ignored things in our own geological records as natural phenomena. They may have just expired out, as some species do.
