We know, asteroids and rocks crash into the moon all the time and that is the reason it is so cratered. But there is something about looking at it in action and that is pretty unbelievable. So exactly how big was the crash? It was so big that scientists say the flash it produced was about the same intensity as the North Star and that it caused a crater 130 feet wide.
