Stephen Hawking has said that there is no God and computers will overcome humans in next 100 years. The 73-year-old turned down impression of a God in a discussion by declaring that science is capable OF explaining the initiation of everything.
When asked by Spanish newspaper El Pais if researchers should ever believe in God, Hawking replied:
“I use the word, God, in an impersonal sense, like Einstein did, for the laws of nature.” After that he was asked: “Do you think humans would one day leave religion and God?” to which he responded: “The laws of science are adequate to describe the origin of the cosmos. It is not necessary to invoke God.”
The motor neuron disease victim went on to say that the future of the humankind could be hostile. He said that if extra-terrestrials visit Earth, they probably will take over our planet. Hawking said: “Such advanced aliens would possibly become nomads, looking to conquer and colonize whatever planets they can reach. To my mathematical brain, the numbers alone make thinking about aliens perfectly rational.
The real challenge is to work out what extra-terrestrials might really be like.” On the topic of artificial intelligence (AI), he said: “Computers will overtake humans with AI in some next 100 years. When that happens, we need to make sure the computers have goals aligned with ours.
I think the survival of the human race will rest on on its capability to find new homes elsewhere in the cosmos, because there’s an increasing risk that a disaster will destroy Earth. I therefore want to raise public awareness about the significance of space flight. I have learnt not to look too far ahead, but to concentrate on the present. I have so much more I want to do.”
Don’t be surprised (if you are) this isn’t the first time that the theoretical physicist has criticized religion. Back in a June, 2015, in an interview, Hawking told Spanish Newspaper El Mundo that science has taken us too far to have faith in in an all-powerful divinity. He said “Before we understand science, it is natural to believe that God made the cosmos.
But now science offers a more considerable explanation. What I meant by ‘we would know the mind of God’ is, we would know everything that God would know, if there were a God, which there isn’t. I’m an atheist,”
Stephen Hawking said that there is no God. I said there is God by seeing the life of Stephen Hawking. God created everything computerised by putting chips inside everything. Why the cells obey the laws normally. There might be aliens. If they come to earth they are superior than us. Stephen Hawking said the right thing for the aliens can enslave us. Defend the intrusion of aliens. But according to the scriptures humans can't be annihilated without coming of Jesus.
